Silver Surfer, 711, Squat Toilets

1) I now have three valid incidences as my proof that I am Silver Surfer. I won’t elaborate…and you won’t make me.

2) There’s too much work today and I missed my free-Starbucks dinner. So instead I had my dinner at 7-11. I wanted to lower my carb intake so I opted some cold salad. It didn’t help at all because I didn’t immediately see that in it are cold pasta and potato salad. I had no choice, carbs for me is like the red and juicy apple Snow White wasn’t able to resist. 

3) I’m getting good at it, no doubt. This morning I tried the squat toilets again and my thighs didn’t ache and there were no spills on my pants. It was horrible the first time I used it. I felt that my limbs were unstretched and the seam part of my jeans spelled squat toilets all over. Now, I effortlessly did it while in high heels. Hahaha!

That’s so German

After getting used to the usual meals of noodles and rice, today I attended our team gathering at a German restaurant. Honestly, I had no idea of what German cuisine was like. One officemate told me that is all about sausages. Well, our meal had sausages but I can say that it’s not just that but all kinds of meat. Name it, medium rare, fried, roasted, and so on. We ordered four big platters of different kinds of sausages, ham, breaded beef and after a few bites I was already full. Probably because I’m not used to eating heavy meals after office hours anymore. Anyway, dinner ended with a yummy fondue. I told them I wasn’t a fan of chocolates, but when I tasted the not-too-sweet dip, I immediately denied what I said. Location details: Pals-n-pals is in Xindian, just across the Xiaobitan MRT Station. That’s all I can remember because I was asleep during the ride going to the place. It’s a nice place. One thing I’ve noticed, even though they have a lot of customers (in big groups), I only saw less than 5 waiters. Not a fancy trivia, I know, but it’s just very different from what we have in Manila.
